PRESS RELEASE
Washington DC- The National Coalition of Latino Clergy and Christian Leaders Inc. (CONLAMIC) is very pleased with the decision of Judge Robin Cauthron, regarding the US Chamber of Commerce legal efforts against HB-1804.
"Today, the State of Oklahoma begins to be delivered and on the path to be free of the moral and economic consequences, that such a frivolous and immoral piece of legislation, brought against the historical reputation of such a fine State", says the Rev. Miguel Rivera, President of the largest Latino Evangelical Pastors advocacy organization in the Country.
CONLAMIC Legal Defense Fund, filed twice a lawsuit against HB-1804, led by Attorneys William Sanchez and Rohit Sharma, without success, under the same constitutional principles of the Supremacy Clause, but Judge James Payne dismissed both complaints, for what he defiantly called, "lack of standing".
